We have used the EquiSpa for a wide range of soft tissue injuries and trauma. We have been impressed by the outcomes and feel this has given us a more rapid response to treatment than we would have achieved by more conventional methods alone.

I have used the Equispa for a case of lymphangitis which was refractory to our normal treatment regime and was deteriorating rapidly Treatment in the Equispa and controlled exercise caused a marked reduction in the swelling of the affected hind leg and an improved demeanour in the horse. Daily spa baths were initially used and when these were reduced there was a recurrence of oedema, although not to the initial degree, indicating the Equispa was having a significant beneficial effect on the tissues. The use of the Equispa in this case reduced the healing time considerably and importantly seemed to improve the general demeanour of the horse by reducing the pain involved in this condition. I would certainly recommend the use of the Equispa as an adjunct to treatment of any lesions involving swelling and oedema.
