People often ask "how long will it take for my youngster to be safe and rideable?" Our answer is always: "lets show him an easy way and then its up to him!" You cannot fit a round peg into a square hole - some horses pick things up very quickly and others may struggle at one stage or another, and trying to rush a horse will only bring about problems in further training.
The starting of any young horse is a very important role, as this stage of his training will shape the rest of his life. So many youngsters are rushed and pushed along, with many careers broken along the way. It only takes five minutes of poor education or lack of thought to ruin potential or lose a horses confidence in the human being!
